Introduction to Web development - Web developer guides

Web Programming also known as Web Development which is the creation of dynamic web applications. Various examples of a web application are social networking sites like Facebook, twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, and Snapdeal. There are various software development companies which provide coding training to beginners to learn.

There are lots and lots of people who want to learn to code in order to develop or want to work in a specific industry to start their career as a web developer.

In most of the web development companies, there are two broad divisions of web development that are front-end development (also called client-side development) and back-end development (also called server-side development).

Front-end development means constructing what a user sees when they load a web application, whether it’s content or design. With the help of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript it can easily be possible.

HTML is Hyper Text Mark-up Language which is a special code for marking up the text in order to turn it into a web page. Every webpage is written in HTML.

CSS is Cascading Style Sheets which is a code for setting style rules for the appearance of web pages of a website.

JavaScript is a scripting language that is widely used to add functionality and interactivity to web pages.

Backend development generally controls what is going on behind the web application. A back-end often uses a database to generate the front-end. Backend scripts are written in different languages and frameworks like PHP, Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, and Node JS.

Without going into much detail most of the web development companies generally follow these main languages and frameworks in order to improve its functionality and interactivity with the web pages.
