Shuttl, a bus-sharing app that tries to innovate the way one travels to their office recently announced that it had raised an $ 11 million series B funding by Amazon India, Amazon Alexa Fund and Dentsu Ventures. Sequoia Capital, Times Internet, and Lightspeed Ventures also participated. This startup received last round of funding of 20 million$ in December 2015,8 months after launch.

Shuttl, a Gurugram based app was launched with the aim to reduce pollution and enhance public transportation. Through shuttle app, commuters can now book seats and ride to their office hassle-free. It has been launched with location-enabled services, chirp, and route optimization features. The assurance of saving time and reliability has helped them grow as the leading on-demand bus service. shuttl tries enhancing the bus experience for city dwellers. The difference about shuttl app is the convenience it offers in the traveling sector. Shuttl app has been launched in 5 major cities of India as of now and aims to expand to other cities too. Shuttl app seeks to provide safe, smart and an affordable solution to the commuters through an on-demand app. As of now has 1000 buses running and is going to expand into two more cities with the shuttl app funding.

Shuttl Founder
